The third annual Converse Eastbay Classic will be held at Wisconsin Lutheran College on December 11, 2010. Join us to see some of the top high school players and teams in the state battle it out, all for a good cause.

All proceeds from this event will go to the JG Scholarship Fund to allow deserving youth in need of assistance to further their college education in the state of Wisconsin.

JG Scholarship Fund

All proceeds from the Converse/Eastbay College Scholarship Classic will go to the JG-Scholarship Fund - a non-profit college scholarship fund.

  • The JG Scholarship Fund is the event titleholder of the Converse/Eastbay Classic. All proceeds from the day's events on December 11th, 2010, will benefit deserving and qualified area youth who want to further their education beyond high school, but do not have the necessary resources. We want to allow those that have the ability to reach out and capture their dream of a higher education.
  • Students will be able to apply for Scholarship awards between January 1st, 2011 & and April 1st, 2011. Applications will be available on December 1st, 2010.
The criteria for the award will be based on four elements:
  • - Academics
    • student will need to have shown proficient cumulative grade point average(4 years) & college entrance exam scores.
  • - Extra-curricular
    • involvement - not necessarily just athletics but other activities as well - Band, Drama, Student Council.
  • - Community involvement
  • - A formal interview process with the JG Scholarship Fund Board of Directors.
