Wrestling shoes are worn in competition and practice for the sport of wrestling. Wrestling shoes are extremely light, breathable and flexible with a strong rubber sole and high ankle support. A typical pair of wrestling shoes will generally run one half to one full size larger than normal shoes. The fit should be fairly snug and wrestling shoes will probably stretch somewhat after a few practices. A good quality-wrestling shoe will normally last a year or two. If you are not sure which wrestling shoe to purchase, get a recommendation from your coach or your teammates.
