The Saucony ProGrid Ride 5 is an ounce lighter than it's predecessor. Redesigned flex groves on the outsole and an updated upper design give this running shoe more flexibility, a smoother transition and a more responsive feel during the gait cycle. Lightweight mesh upper with welded overlays. HydraMAX collar lining wicks moisture. HRC™ Strobel Board along with the Comfortride sockliner give the runner a plush and cushioned ride. The midsole has an 8 mm offset using Saucony Super-Light (SSL) EVA with full-length ProGrid™ cushioning and an SRC Impact Zone for added cushioning during the strike phase of the gait cycle. Injection Blown Rubber (IBR) and XT-900® outsole provide a lighter, softer ride without sacrificing durability. Wt. 8.6 oz.
