| Light, durable and stable for the most demanding trails, the Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX trail running shoe has a streamlined profile and great durability with the year round climate comfort of GORE-TEX®. Open mesh upper is designed to be breathable and quick drying. Asymmetrical Quicklace™ is made from durable Kevlar fibers and is intended for easy shoe entry and exit. Sensifit™ is located on the medial and lateral sides and is designed to wrap the foot with a secure fit. Gusseted tongue helps keep debris out of the shoe. OrthoLite® sockliner is composed of anti-bacterial material and is designed to reduce odor and moisture while adding cushion directly underfoot. 3D Comfort is located in the heel and is a composite foam designed to attenuate heel strike energy. Energy Cell 2 is a full-length composite foam designed to attenuate heel strike energy and provide increased energy return. Pronation Control is located at the medial midfoot and is a higher density foam designed to reduce overpronation. 3D Stability is sandwiched between 3D Comfort and the Energy Cell midsole. It is a thermoplastic device engineered to aid in heel to toe transition while reducing lateral movement. 3D Protection is located in the heel and is a thermoplastic unit designed for heel stability. Full-length Strobel® last is intended to give additional support. Contagrip® outsole is designed for increased traction over varying terrain. Wt. 14.1 oz. |
