This new performance running shoe features a lower profile midsole, specially tooled to provide a responsive road feel, along with unique componentry that helps maintain stride efficiency throughout the entire gait cycle. A new upper construction offers a comfortable, snug fit for irritation-free high mileage training. Discrete Heel unit takes the Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.®) to a new level by creating our highest degree of shock attenuation and stability. Solyte™ midsole provides improved cushioning and durability. "Twist" GEL® Cushioning System enhances shock attenuation and allows for improved toe off position. Gender Specific Space Trusstic System® recognizes the normal periodic changes in the shape of the woman's arch and provides for the controlled deformation of the arch into the space with the system.
