Chris Paul was born and raised in North Carolina. Despite only playing two varsity basketball seasons in high school, he led his team to a 27-3 record and the Class 4A Eastern Regional finals in his senior year. He played in McDonald's All-American and Jordan Brand Classics and was named North Carolina's Mr. Basketball in 2003. Chris accepted a scholarship with nearby Wake Forest University and led the school to two NCAA Tournaments, including one Sweet Sixteen appearance.
In 2005, Paul went pro and was selected as the 4th overall pick by the New Orleans Hornets. In 2011, Paul was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Over the course of his professional career, Paul has been named Rookie Of The Year (2006) and won two gold medals with the United States National Basketball Team.
Pauls' sixth signature basketball shoe, the Jordan CP3.VI, is engineered for quick ballers in need of a sneaker that can handle high speeds and quick cuts on a daily basis. This Jordan Basketball shoe features a durable, supportive, non-restrictive fit and is crafted with details inspired by Paul himself. Dual-density foam at the forefoot provides this basketball shoe with targeted cushioning and stability on the court. Flywire technology in the upper is encompassed in a thin, lightweight polyurethane film to offer enhanced support and durability. Cutouts in the upper provide breathability, and an injected Phylon midsole offers responsive cushioning at push-off for lateral stability. The environmentally friendly outsole with multidirectional traction pattern is dense in the high-wear areas to deliver enhanced traction and durability when making hard cuts.
