Nike 6.0
Nike is known for adapting to the ever-changing world of sports and creating technology and styles to accommodate the demands of athletes. With the popularity of extreme sports growing tremendously through the 1990s and early 2000s, Nike 6.0 is Nike's response to those sports that are a bit off the cuff from the rest. The six sports that fall under Nike 6.0 include BMX, Motocross, Ski, Snow, Surf and Wake and each sport seems to have closely related demands to the next.

The Nike 6.0 BMX team includes riders such as Nigel Sylvester, Dennis Enarson, and Garrett Reynolds. BMX team riders are often seen wearing Nike 6.0 shoes like the Mavrk Mid, Zoom Oncore, and the Nike 6.0 Dunk. With many action sports athletes, participating in multiple sports is common so Nike 6.0 has created many bags and backpacks, including snowboard bags for Mason Aguirre and Louie Vito. The Nike 6.0 team has also been the inspiration for Nike hoodies like the H2Oody, which is a water-repellant hooded sweatshirt, which is a part of their large selection of outerwear that also includes Nike 6.0 jackets and winter apparel.

Other Nike 6.0 athletes include skiers Simon Dumont and Kaya Turski, moto-x riders James Stewart and Ryan Dungey, wakeboarder Ben Horan, surfers Kolohoe Andino and Lakey Peterson and many others. Like many of the Nike subsidiaries, performance equipment and apparel from Nike 6.0 are available in both men's and women's designs. On the lifestyle side, Nike 6.0 has had notable collaborations with Lance Armstrong's LIVESTRONG foundation, and astronaut Buzz Aldrin.
