    Lacrosse heads are the most varied piece of equipment in the sport. You have tons of choices in size, shape, design, and color. But no matter what you play with, your head should provide accuracy, easy ball handling, and shot or pass velocity. You'll also need to consider things like scoop shape and pocket width when choosing the head that is right for your playing style and position. For example, a wider pocket will provide better blocking area for a defender. But attackers generally prefer a shallow pocket style in order to give them a quick release.
