Living The Dream
Standing at 6'9" and weighing in at 235 lbs, Kevin Durant was the consensus 2007 National College Player of the Year, and the 2006–2007 Big 12 Player of the Year at the University of Texas. Durant was selected second overall in the draft by Seattle (now Oklahoma City Thunder) where he went on to win the Rookie Of The Year award after his debut season. In the 2009–2010 campaign, Kevin led the league in scoring and became the youngest player ever to win the league scoring title. He is a three time scoring champion, a three time member of the All League First Team, and a member of the US National Teams that won gold in the 2010 World Championship and the 2012 Olympic Games.
When asked how it feels to be a two-time cover athlete Durant says: "It means a lot, I'm a big shoe guy." He went on to say: "It's fun to be on the cover a second time, and hopefully I'll be on it again."
Designed with new insights from Kevin, the Nike Zoom KD IV basketball shoe features updated construction and a serious support system for quicker, more aggressive play. KD says: "I'm a guy that's very light on my feet and I like to run and jump all the time, so they made my shoe as light as they could."
