Coogi
Coogi was founded in 1969 in Australia as Cuggi. The name of the company was changed to sound more native Australian in 1987 and become Coogi as it is today. Coogi manufacturers high quality apparel and is most famous for its brightly colored uniquely knitted sweaters. In the 1980s Coogi became increasingly popular thanks to being worn by entertainer Bill Cosby, who could be seen regularly wearing the sweaters on his television show. In the late 80s and early 90s Coogi grew to become popular in the hip-hop community thanks to rappers like Notorious B.I.G. wearing Coogi sweaters.
